Today's Melt: CBV Sweet Snow

This one is very strong, smells just like a candy cane.  There isn't much else to say about it.  (4/5)

Today's Melt: CBV Banana Coconut Cream Pie

Hey!  Today, I am melting Banana Coconut Cream Pie from Candles by Victoria today. It is an amazing scent!  It is a perfect combination of the four scents.  The first thing you get is the candy banana, but the cream, coconut and pie crust blend with it and tone it down slightly.  I think It would be awesome mixed with Granny's Pie Crust!  (4/5)

More CBV Create-A-Scents

Praline Claws- Caramelized Pralines and Bear Claws
Ohana- Pineapple and Mango Papaya
Starbucks- Cinnamon Gingerbread Latte and French Crumb Cake
Pick Me Up- Grapefruit Peppermint and Lemon Vanilla
Snowdrift Noel- Snowdrift Berries and Vanilla Bean Noel

Today's Melt: CBV Christmas Apple Cider Snap

This one is exactly like it is cold when it is warm, apple with red hot cinnamon.  The apple isn't quite a cidery apple, just a normal apple.  I need to let the rest of it cure, the 1/2 I put in (it crumbed when I was cutting it and I gave up and just put the half in) has about as much throw as the regular 1/4 I put in.  (5/5)

Today's Melt: CBV I'll Have What She's Having

Today, I am melting "I'll Have What She's Having" from Candles by Victoria.  You can not order this scent directly from her, you have to create it yourself in a Love, Victoria jar, 22 ounce tureen or 16 ounce Country Jar.  It is a mix of Bear Claws and Chocolate Chip Cookies, created by Jason H. from the message board and Facebook page.  I think that it smells mostly like Bear Claws with the butter and chocolate from the Chocolate Chip Cookies.  This smells awesome, I need to get it in a candle form in my next order. (5/5)

Post-Curing Review: CBV Winter 2012 Order

Just a heads up, I will not be categorizing the scents by who they are for, if you want to figure that out, check out the previous review on these scents.  Let's just get into the review!

Home For the Holidays- This is a create a scent that I made out of Christmas Cabin and Creme Brulee.  The first thing I smell is the cranberry, then some of the orange zest.  I also get a very creamy vanilla-type scent from the Creme Brulee.  This may not be finished curing through the whole thing since it is a 16 ounce candle.  This is a delicious scent, perfect for this time of year.  I highly recommend that you buy it.  (5/5)

Geisha- This is a dupe for a certain bath company that we aren't allowed to talk about.  This is good, very sweet floral cherry blossom scent.  Last time, I said I got a powdery note from it, that note is gone now.  It just smells like a sweet floral.  (3.5/5)

Coconut Praline- You probably know how much I hate this scent, but it isn't for me.  It smells like kettle corn mixed with popcorn from a movie theater where you put on the extra butter and it always becomes too much.  Blech.  (1/5)

Granny's Pie Crust- This one is awesome!  It smells just like honey graham crackers.  I don't love it nearlt as much as Sabrina (thelazylillypad) does, but it is really nice.  (4/5)

Carrot Cake- This is just a very sweet cake with some cream cheese frosting.  I don't get any spice from it at all, so if you like real carrot cake, but don't like spice this would be good for you. (3.5/5)

Cold December's Night- This is a good balance, I get about 65% Sweet Snow and 35% Sugared Spruce.    That is understandable since Sweet Snow smells much stronger than Sugared Spruce, at least on cold throw.  (4/5)

Golden Cadillac- I still get that Vanilla Bean Noel note, but the maple is definitely coming out more.  I can tell that this still needs more time to cure.  (3.5/5)

Caramel Apple- I get a lot of caramel and a hint of apple.  I wish I got slightly more apple, but that will probably come out more when I melt it.  It smells like Cider Lane from BBW with a bit less apple. (4/5)

Rae's Hot Cocoa & Marshmallows- This smells like the Fudge Brownie scent with something slightly creamy mellowing it out a tiny bit.  I wouldn't say that the creamy note is marshamllowy, more like just a generic vanilla.  (3.5/5)

Christmas Apple Cider Snap- This is really good.  It is 50% apple and 50% cinnamon red hots.  I wouldn't say that the apple is really an apple cider, just a generic apple slightly mellowed out by the red hot cinnamon.  If you don't like cinnamon, this wouldn't be for you.  (4/5)

Hello Dolly- This is a 50/50 blend of chocolate and butterscotch with a slight creamy note from the coconut cream pie.  (5/5)

Snow Drift Berries- I get this berry scent, maybe raspberry and strawberry with a slight cooling sensation from the pine.  The berry is kind of similar to Captain Crunch Berries. (5/5)

Tommy Type- This just smells like vanilla musk and the "this is a perfume" scent.  (3/5)

Simply Delicious- This one is just a slightly nutty pear with some rich caramel.  Not the same caramel that is in Caramelized Pralines, but a rich caramel.  The caramel in this one is slightly sweeter than the one in CP, which is very buttery.  (5/5)

French Crumb Cake- This is what I wanted out of Country Coffee Cake.  It just smells like a crumbly cinnamon cake with a tiny hint of coffee.  If you have ever had the coffee cake muffins from Dunkin' Donuts, it smells like this.  (5/5)

Captain Crunch Berries- This smells exactly like the berries from the cereal, more so when warm than on cold.  (5/5)

Vanilla Bean Noel- This smells just like the Bath and Body Works scent.  (4/5)

Stress Relief- 50/50 blend of peppermint and lavender.  I don't get any of the chai tea.  (5/5)

Vanilla Sandalwood- This smells mostly like sandalwood, the only wood I like, but it is slightly mellowed out by the vanilla.  Very nice and relaxing.  (4.5/5)

Sugared Spruce- It smells like a slightly sweetened evergreen scent, but not a pine scent.  (3/5)

Banana Coconut Cream Pie- The first thing I get is that candy banana, slightly mellowed out by the coconut.  I don't get a pie crust scent at all though.  (3.5/5)

Banana Brown Sugar Drizzle- The banana is very prominent, but it has so much brown sugar and creamy creme brulee, that I enjoy it much more than BCCP.  (5/5)

Warm Christmas Splendor- I don't get any of the cinnamon, I just get a slighly toned down version of Sweet Snow.  (3/5)

Kim's Country Cornbread- This is a very buttery, very crumbly bread scent.  I love this one and I will probably melt it today.  (5/5)

Bergamot and Herbal Mint- I get an herbal minty scent with a bit of almost orange from the bergamot.  (3.5/5)

Chai Tea- This definitely got stronger from last time I smelled it.  I get mostly the black tea.  I get very little spice or honey.  (3.5/5)

Sweet Snow- Smells just like a candy cane, very strong too.  (4/5)

Buttery Gingerbread- I don't get much butter, just a very good gingerbread.  If you like gingerbread cookies, you will like this.  (4/5)

Bear Claws- This just smells like a very caramelly dough with a hint of very sugared out cinnamon.  (5/5)

Cinnamon Apple Berry- I don't get any cinnamon, just apples and berries.  (4/5)

Eucalyptus Spearmint- Wrigley's Spearmint Gum.  Definitely my least favorite of all of the ones I ordered. (2/5)

Creme Brulee- Smells just like the dessert, but with more vanilla.  (3.5/5)

Holiday Wassail- I just get pineapple and pine.  A weird combination, but not bad. (3/5)

Chocolate Mint- Smells like an Andes mint or the Yankee Candle Peppermint Bark. (4/5)

Peppermint Bark- This smells just like real peppermint bark.  It is delicious! (5/5)

Cranberry Brulee- I get both notes equally, very nice.  (3/5)

Spellbound- This smells like Cider Lane from Slatkin & Co, but with an undertone of cotton candy.  I love this one.  (5/5)

Christmas Cabin- I smell cranberry and a bit of orange zest with some other berries that I can't quite place.  (3.5/5)

Under the Harvest Moon- This smells weird.  It is kind of a spicy wood with some apple.  Not a big fan/  (2.5/5)

Bonfire Bliss- I get the autumn leaves, the wood (mostly sandalwood) and some sort of creamy, toasted vanilla bean scent.  I really like this.  (4/5)

Blackberry Walnut- This smells like the BBW Fresh Picked Blackerries, with some nuttiness underneath it.  I really do like this one.  (4/5)

Christmas Lane- I don't get the apple, just smells like BH&G's Snowy Evergreen Forest.  (3/5)

Christmas Eve- There is mostly clove, maybe some cinnamon or nutmeg and some creamy eggnog.  I will probably melt this one on Christmas Eve, just because of the name.  (4/5)

Singapore Sling- The cherry almond not went away and now I just smell fruit loops.  I am the weird person who always smells fruit loops instead of lemon bakery.  I do like it, but I wanted more than just generic fruit loops from it.  (3/5)

Pumpkin Pear Strudel- Mostly pear, then sweetened, unspiced pumpkin and some pie crust. (5/5)

Breakfast in Vermont- I smell chocolate and bread.  It is nice, but not great.  (3/5)

Sonny & Cher- This has the same mint as Bergamot and Herbal Mint, but with a stroger cooling sensation as you breathe it in. (3/5)

Cinnamon Donuts- This smells exactly like its name, one of my all-time favorite scents.  (5/5)

Amish Quilt- This one is just okay, it smells like straight nutmeg with a hint of cinnamon to me.  (3/5)

Butter Pound Cake- Smells just like its name, would be a great mixture.  (4.5/5)

Orange Juice Cake- This was my first favorite scent from CBV, smells like fresh squeezed orange juice with a hint of cake.  (4.5/5)

Leaves Type- Smells just like the BBW candle, but with a bit more apple.  (5/5)

Apple Cinnamon Butter- This smells like a very creamy spiced apple.  It is nice.  (3/5)

Raisin Rum- I like this one.  It just smells like a box of raisins.  (3/5)

Today's Melt and My 100th Post!

I thought that this would be a good transition to Winter scent.  It is mostly the pumpkin spice (cinnamon and pumpkin) scent with a little bit of creaminess and lemon.  This is actually what I wanted her Spiced Pumpkin Chutney to smell like.  It is a medium to strong throw, and it smells really good.  (3.5/5)

BONUS: As this is my 100th post, I will be doing nothing special except thank you for your support.  I would like to thank you all for everything.  You are so great to me and in return, I will not be doing a giveaway.  Sorry!  Keep reading.

Today's Melt: Pumpkin Pear Strudel

Today, I am melting Pumpkin Pear Strudel from CBV today!  I really like this one, it is a perfect blend of pear, pumpkin and pie crust.  The first thing you get is the pear, then the pumpkin and then the pie crust.  This is one of my favorite scents from CBV.  (5/5)

Today's Melt: Pumpkin Pralines (and Tumblr information

Before I get to today's melt, I would like to inform you that I now have a Tumblr, two in fact.  I have one that is essentially the same as this (with bonus content on both blogs) and one about anything (weird things that happen in my life, funny stories, comedy, funny photos, etc.) that I feel like writing about.  I will link them both right here so that you can follow them.

http://thelushietimes.tumblr.com/
http://hilariousmoi.tumblr.com/

Onto the review.  Pumpkin Pralines is about 70% caramelized pralines and 30% pumpkin.  There isn't anything else to it.  So, if you like Caramelized Pralines or pumpkin scents, you would like this.  (4/5)

Haul Time: Candles by Victoria Winter Order

Hi!  My winter order from Candles by Victoria came a day early, so I will just share the goodness with you now!  Just a warning, this will be long.  Definitely the longest post I will have done thus far.  I would just like to send a thank you to Victoria, Matt, Melissa and Chelsea for continuing to bring us wonderful products.  Now, just sit back, relax and enjoy the scent descriptions.  I will start with the stuff I got for people's holidsy gifts, then what I got and then the scent shots that my mom ordered.

                                                 Holiday Gifts For Other People
Home For The Holidays- This is not a scent in the permanent line, I created it myself.  It is made from Christmas Cabin and Creme Brulee.  I smell mostly the mulberry from the Christmas Cabin scent, some other fruits, creaminess from the creme brulee and a tiny hint of spice.  I definitely recommend this CAS.  Just to clarify, you can order CAS in 16oz jars, 22oz tureens and Love Victoria jars.  I got this in the 16oz jar.  I will definitely be making this myself since I got both scents in this.  (5/5)

Geisha- I got this in the Scoop Some Scent with purple dots.  It looks so cute!  It looks like cotton candy on the top and on the side it looks like a blue brain.  It smells exactly like what it is duping, even my mom said so.  It smells like a very sweet cherry blossom scent with a slight hint of powder, but not a strong baby powder scent.  It smells just like what it is duping, so if you like that product, you will like this.  (4/5)

Coconut Praline- This is in a Scoop Some Scent as well, but I will not open this one, I don't like the scent and it is strong enough for me to not open it to smell it.  It smells like a big bowl of a mix of kettle corn and popcorn.  I hate popcorn scents, so it is natural for me to not like this.  I don't smell coconut or Caramelized Pralines in this, two scents that I like coming together to make one that I don't like.  (1/5)

                                                                  My Scent Shots
Tommy Type- This is a very nice, calming scent.  I actually like this, which is surprising considering my normal vein of scents.  I smell the perfumey "this is a perfume" scent with some undertones of vanilla musk.  A surprisingly good scent.  This was my free scent shot.  (4/5)

Spellbound-  A lot of people said that this smells similar to BBW Cider Lane, which I really like.  I had to try CBV's version.  It smells very close.  It smells like Cider Lane with an undertone of cotton candy.  This is a really good scent, I would definitely recommend it.  (5/5)

Kim's Country Cornbread- The first thing I pick up is butter, this is a very buttery bread scent, so if you don't like butter then you won't like this.  You also get the crumbly cornbread scent, it is divine!  (5/5)

Blackberry Walnut- I actually didn't order this, I ordered Berry Blackberry Cobbler which was out of stock, so she replaced it with this.  It smells like the Bath and Body Works Fresh Picked Blackberry with a tiny hint of bakery, I hope that come out more after curing.  (4/5)

Peppermint Bark- I am going to hop on the bandwagon and say that this does smell like an Andes mint.  The only thing that isn't perfect is that the chocolate is slightly less real than her Fudge Brownie candle.  Otherwise, it is flawless and smells just like real peppermint bark.  (5/5)

Golden Cadillac- This is one of the Black Label scent shots, so they are slightly more expensive than the other scent shots.  This smells like vanilla right now.  I don't get anything else, just plain vanilla.  It is nice, but I would expect more from a high end fragrance oil.  (3/5)

Banana Coconut Cream Pie- This smells like candied bananas and a little bit of coconut, I don't smell any of the pie.  I am not a fan of the banana in this scent.  I ordered another banana one so I hope that one smells better.  So many people rave about this, and I just can't say that I agree.  (2.5/5)

Vanilla Sandalwood- I get equal parts of the vanilla and the sandalwood, not much else that I can say about it.  It smells really nice and relaxing.  (3.5/5)

Warm Christmas Splendor- This smells like candy canes with a little undertone of cinnamon.  I really like this scent.  There might be a bit of nutmeg too, but mostly candy canes.  (4/5)

Captain Crunch Berries- I have described this many times before, and will not explain it in detail.  If you want my description, go to my "Today's Melt" post on this scent.  (5/5)

Chai Tea- This is mostly the tea scent, it is definitely not a white or green tea, possibly a black tea.  After the whiff of tea, you get a slight note of cinnamon.  It is sweetened a bit by honey.  If I was going to drink a chai tea, I would want it to taste like this.  (4/5)

Christmas Apple Cider Snap- This smells mostly like apple cider (fresh apple cider, not supermarket apple cider) and a red hot cinnamon.  I can see how the cinnamon would overwhelm people, but I really like it.  It is definitely a very good winter scent.  (5/5)

Sweet Snow- This smells like a big delicious candy cane!  I think it needs more cure time, it doesn't smell that strong.  I would give it more cure time anyway.  Great winter scent.  (4.5/5)

Sugared Spruce- This smells like evergreen trees, but not pine scented.  I don't like pine, but I like other evergreens and that is what this smells like.  (4/5)

Cold December's Night- I smell almost equal amounts of Sweet Snow and Sugared Spruce, though the mint is a bit stronger than the spruce.  This is the perfect scent for December/Christmas time or just any time you want to clear your head but don't want straight peppermint.  (5/5)

Simply Delicious- I get a really nice bakery, nutty pear.  The nuts and the pear are the most prominent scents, with the caramel coming in in the background.  It would be even better if the caramel came out more.  (4.5/5)

Under the Harvest Moon- I don't find this as rave-worthy as most other people have.  If you remember, I ordered this in my fall order, but it didn't come.  It smells mostly like what I am guessing is Why I Autumn on the top and only like Leaves Type on the bottom.  I hope that as they cure, the scents blend together more.

Banana Brown Sugar Drizzle- This is what I wanted in a banana scent.  It is really nice, it smells like the candy banana, just not as fake as Banana Coconut Cream Pie, with some sweet brown sugar.  Delicious, though not making it to my five star rating.  (4/5)

Granny's Pie Crust- This smells just like honey graham crackers.  I don't get anything else from it.  I really like it, but it isn't a 5 star one.  I can see this mixing well with fruity scents to make some sort of a pie scent.  (4/5)

Hello Dolly- This is a wonderfully decadent bakery scent.  The first thing I get is chocolate with a bit of butterscotch.  If the butterscotch came out more, this would be a 5 star scent.  (4/5)

French Crumb Cake- This is exactly what I wanted Country Coffee Cake to smell like.  It smells like a crumbly cinnamon cake with only a tiny hint of sweet coffee.  It smells just like a Dunkin Donuts coffee cake muffin.  It is amazing!  (4.5/5)

Chocolate Mint- This smells just like the Yankee Candle Peppermint Bark scent from this year's festive line.  Milk chocolate and peppermint in a perfect ratio.  The CBV Peppermint Bark smells more like real peppemint bark than the Yankee/CBV Chocolate Mint scent.  (4.5/5)

Holiday Wassail- I smell sugared out pineapple and evergreen trees.  It is nice, but based on this I would not repurchase it.  (2.5/5)

Cranberry Brulee- I smell a really strong, sweet cranberry.  I don't get much creaminess right now.  (2.5/5)

Caramel Apple- This one smells like mostly caramel and a bit of green apple.  I usually hate green apple, but the caramel sweetens it out enough that I like it.  I wish I had this for the fall.  It is very similar to Spellbound, but I prefer Spellbound because of the cotton candy note. (4.5/5)

Creme Brulee- This one smells like Granny's Pie Crust mixed with a creamy vanilla scent.  It doesn't smell exactly like real creme brulee, but it smells nice.  I hope it changes when it cures.  (3.5/5)

Cinnamon Apple Berry- I get mostly a sweet raspberry with a bit of cinnamon and a bit of juicy apple.  It smells really nice.  (4/5)

Bear Claws- I get a really sweet doughy note with a bit of sugared out cinnamon and a hint of nuttiness.  I really like this, if you like Caramelized Pralines, you will like this.  (5/5)

Vanilla Bean Noel- This is a Bath and Body Works dupe.  I have the BBW one and this is exactly the same.  If you like the BBW scent, you will love this one.  (5/5)

Rae's Hot Coco and Marshmallows- This smells like hot cocoa.  It is a really nice chocolately scent.  I don't get any marshmallow, but it is really nice.  If you like Fudge Brownie, you will like this.  (4/5)

Stress Relief- A nice herbal lavender scent with a lot of mint.  It is the perfect blend of lavender and mint, almost 50 50.  I also get a slight undertone of Chai Tea.  I am in the process of moving, and it is stressful, so I got some nice stress relieving scents.  (5/5)

Eucalyptus Spearmint- I know what you're asking me.  "Hey!  Does this smell like the Bath and Body Works one?"  The answer to your question is no.  This one has much more spearmint than the BBW one.  The BBW one is 50/50 and this is 70% spearmint, and I am not a huge fan of spearmint.  It smells like spearmint gum with a bit of eucalyptus.  I will burn this, but unless it smells like the BBW one warm, I probably won't repurchase it because I don't like spearmint.  (2/5)

Carrot Cake- This is actually very creamy and sweet cake as opposed to a spicy carrot cake scent.  I really like this one, it isn't the typical overly spicy and overly nutty carrot cake.  (4/5)

Bonfire Bliss- This smells like sandalwood, leaves (not BBW) and sweet marshmallow.  Sandalwood is the only wood that I like, so this is a great scent, just not a favorite yet.  (3.5/5)

Snow Drift Berries- This smells like fresh assorted berries (very sweet) and mint.  The pine is probably what is smelling like mint to me, since it is a sinus clearing scent.  I really like this, thanks Brooke (sayanythingbr00ke) for the recommendation. (5/5)

Bergamot and Herbal Mint- I already reviewed this one in the order I made for my Grandmother's birthday, but I will describe it again.  Cooling peppermint and a bit of uplifting bergamot.  Very calming and I could imagine it being another good stress relieving scent.  It is nice, but I prefer the Stress Relief one.  (3.5/5)

Christmas Cabin- It smells just like mulberry with cranberry and a hint of cinnamon.  (4.5/5)

Christmas Lane- This smells like Sugared Spruce mixed with some apple pie.  (4/5)

Buttery Gingerbread- There's nothing I can say about this.  It smells just like its name.  By far my favorite Gingerbread scent because it isn't too gingery and it achieves that perfection without it being mixed with icing.  (4.5/5)

Christmas Eve- I just smell very spicy cinnamon right now.  No creaminess like it says in the description.  (3/5)

                                                        My Mother's Scent Shots
Sonny & Cher- Peppermint.  (3/5)

Leaves Type- I have already reviewed this one.  It is in my Fall CBV order review.  It smells just like the BBW Leaves but with more apple.  (4/5)

Raisin Rum- It just smells like a cinnamon raisin bread right now, no rum.  (3.5/5)

Singapore Sling- It is just another Fruit Loops scent to me.  I hate that any lemon bakery scent I smell, I just get Fruit Loops, that's what happened to me with Lemon Pound Cake too.  It is a Black Label scent. (4/5)

Butter Pound Cake- It smells just like pound cake with no lemon or anything.  It is good and buttery rich. (4/5)

Breakfast in Vermont- This smells like chocolate and yeasty bread, mostly chocolate.  (3.5/5)

Orange Juice Cake- Mostly orange, not much cake.  (4/5)

Cinnamon Donuts- Smells just like its name.  One of my ultimate favorites.  (5/5)

Apple Cinnamon Butter- A spicy apple toned down by a buttery scent.  A really good homey scent.  (4/5)

Amish Quilt- Nutmeg and cinnamon, nothing else.  (3/5)

Pumpkin Pear Strudel- A perfect balance of pumpkin, pear and pie crust.  One of my favorites.  (5/5)

Today's Melt: Candles By Victoria Pink Noel

Today, I am melting on the opposite end of bakery from yesterday's Caramelized Pralines.  I am melting Pink Noel which is a combination of Pink Cupcake (a true vanilla cupcake scent) and Vanilla Bean Noel (Bath & Body Works Type) and it smells really good.  I usually tend to go to a richer, spicier or medium sweetness bakery type scent, but this one is really sweet and sugary.  It smells like a sweet desert table with an ice cream sundae bar next to it.  You get the cupcakes from Pink Cupcake and the parts of Vanilla Bean Noel that smell like a sugar cookie (at least to me) and this really sweet caramel.  It isn't the same caramel as Caramelized Pralines, which is a really rich, buttery caramel.  This caramel is like sweetened Smucker's caramel syrup that you put on ice cream or the solid caramel candies.  It has a nice scent throw, definitely not as strong as the Caramelized Pralines, which scented 2/3 floors of my house (but would have scented all if it was in the kitchen, not my upstairs bedroom) with 1/4 scent shot.  The 1/4 scent shot scents my whole bedroom and most of the upstairs floor by my bedroom.  The least you can really expect from Candles By Victoria.  This scent doesn't get enough love, but it is definitely one of my favorites.  If you haven't tried Pink Noel, just go put it in your next order.  I would only recommend it if you like cookie/cake type scents and sweet things.  If you don't like sweet scents, this isn't for you.  (5/5)

Have a nice day!

Today's Melt: Candles by Victoria Caramelized Pralines

Today, I am kind of in a weird mood with scents.  If you recall, I wasn't a huge fan of Caramelized Pralines when I first received it, but today when I was picking out what to melt, I smelled that and started to crave it. I knew what I was going to melt.  The first thing that I have to say is that Caramelized Pralines is extremely strong.  With slightly less than 1/4 of a scent shot, I can smell it downstairs from where I am melting it.  I am in love right now.  The nutty scent is toned down more when warm because of the rich, buttery caramel scent.  I really love this scent and I now see what all of the hype is about.  You need to try this if you haven't already.  I might have to start ordering some of her scents that are kind of similar to this.  This would be good all year round, but especially in the fall/winter because it is so comforting and warm smelling.  I would definitely repurchase this again.  Every time I inhale, I fall in love.  Thank you SayAnythingBr00ke for the recommendation.  (5/5)

Today's Melt: Yankee Pomegranate Cider

This scent is kind of strange.  It smells like a mix of L*SH Rock Star and Snow Fairy.  It's okay and I have one more of it, but I probably won't buy any more.  It is better cold than warm.  It is pretty light even in my small bedroom.  (3/5)

Some Candles by Victoria CAS (Bakery Scents)

Pumpkin Fritters- Spiced Pumpkin Chutney and Cinnamon Donuts
Sticky Hound Dog- Sticky Toffeecorn and Elvis
After School Snacktime- Graham Cracker Crust and Hawaiian Splash
Ultimate Spice- Country Bumpkin and Amish Quilt
Ultimate Fair Day- Country Fair Funnel Cake and Fair Day

Today's Melt: CBV Spiced Pumpkin Chutney

Today, I am melting Spiced Pumpkin Chutney from Candles By Victoria.  It smells like a perfectly balanced pumpkin spice with a little bit of sweetness.  It reminds me of the Yankee Candle Spiced Pumpkin scent, but with less of a sweetened brown sugar element.  If you like Yankee Spiced Pumpkin or think that that one is too sweet, you would really like Spiced Pumpkin Chutney.  It is a good medium scent throw and lasts as long as any of Victoria's scent shots.  (4/5)

Today's Melt: Candles By Victoria Captain Crunch Berries

This scent is amazing!  I can't believe that I waited this long to melt it, and it is being added to my next order from CBV.  This scent smells like berries and cereal.  People say it smells just like the cereal, but I have never had it.  The cereal has been added to my supermarket shopping list, and this scent is endlessly good and has a great scent throw.  This is now one of my top 3 favorite scents from CBV.  Buy it now if you haven't already. (5/5)

Today's Melt: CBV Fudge Brownie

I'm sorry I haven't done these recently, I really only do this when I am really impressed with what I am melting, and I am very impressed with this scent.  Today, I am melting Fudge Brownie from Candles By Victoria.  This is the best, most realistic chocolate scent you could ever smell in a candle combined with a bakery note that makes it like a cupcake, brownie, cookie or something like that.  My scent shot was almost dripping in fragrance oil, so it was very strong and filled up who floor of my house and down the stairs a bit too.  Overall, this is definitely one of my favorite scents from Candles by Victoria and I would recommend and repurchase this scent.  (5/5)

LUSH Haul! 11/12/12

Hello!  I just got back from my first LUSH trip in a while.  I know I haven't talked about LUSH here in a while because I haven't bought any new stuff from them.  Over the summer, I went a lot and I told myself that I wouldn't go again until the fall for Halloween and Christmas stuff.  My LUSH only had the Enchanter left and I wasn't crazy about the smell, but they did have their Christmas products out.

The first things I got are 2 shower gels, I got Twilight and Ponche.  Twilight smells exactly like the bath bomb!  It is amazing.  I only got the little one, but I will probably get more of both shower gels before they don't have them anymore.  Ponche smells like spiced fruit punch with a bit of alcohol from the tequila, but not so much that I don't like it, I really like it but I probably would only repurchase this in a medium bottle, not a large like I would with Twilight.  I got a piece of Snowglobe soap which smells magical, it was the only Christmas soap that I liked, Snowcake smells like Play dough to me and one of the sales associates there too.  Snowglobe smells like lemon and lemongrass, I will definitely get more of this.  It is awesome!  Thanks Khrystyn14 and VintageChic1927 for the recommendations.  I got some bath products too!  I got the Bubblebeard reusable bubble bar which smells awesome, like lavender and sandalwood.  I got the ever popular Christmas Eve bubble bar.  I think it smells amazing, but I am not obsessed with it like some people are, I would repurchase one or two more.  It smells like jasmine and ylang ylang.  I don't like jasmine, but the ylang ylang smells realy nice with it.  I got the Party Popper bath bomb which smells like champagney citrus and has honeydew melon soap flakes in it.  Cinders bath bomb which smells like cinnamon and clove and has popping candy in it.  I also got the So White bath bomb which smells like a juicy red apple.  It is amazing, this and Cinders I will be cocktailing together and repurchasing.  The last thing I got there is the Golden Wonder bath bomb.  It smells really good, like orange and cognac.

I also exchanged the Cinnamint lip balm from BBW for a Vanillamint one because I hated the Cinnamint flavor.  I also got 2 mini candles.  I got Cranberry Pear Bellini, which you need right now.  The predominant note is the Peach Bellini scent (the Slatkin candle) and then the cranberry and pear are equal.  It smells amazing and you need to get it right now.  I also got Cinnamon Frosting, which smells like cinnamon and buttercream.  It smells like it will be strong.

I exhanged the tea from Teavana that I am allergic to for White Ayrudvic Chai, which tasted like nothing when I drank it, but it smelled great!

That is all that I got during this mall adventure, I will talk to you next time!

Today's Melt: Yankee Candle Peppermint Bark

I am extremely impressed.  I am glad I bought 4 more today.  This one smells just like an Andes mint, the perfect balance of peppermint and chocolate.  I am in love.  This one is very strong, stronger than anything I have tried from Yankee thus far and it has lasted all day.  This is amazing, I will definitely get even more at the SAS after Christmas.  (5/5)

Mall Haul: 11/10/12

Today, I went to the Palisades Shopping Center and bought a lot of things.  I went to Teavana, Bath & Body Works and Yankee Candle.  I had a Yankee gift card from my birthday, so that is the only thing I didn't pay for.

I will start with Teavana stuff, so I can put it away.  I got a Stainless Steel Tea Tumbler.  I don't know how to explain it, so I will use what is written on the website.  Before I describe the item, I would ike to tell you that they are discontinuing some old teas so that they can make room on the shelves for the 17 new ones.  If you love your Teavana, check the website to see if any flavors you like are being discontinued so you can stock up.  The container says "This stainless steel tea tumbler includes a removable tea basket and is perfect for the on-the-go lifestyle.  At home, at work, on the road, or at the gym, it is made for infusing and enjoying loose leaf tea anywhere.  The double walled, vacuum insulated chamber holds 14 ounces and will keep tea hot or cold for up to 6 hours.  Simply place the recommended amount of tea in the basket, add hot water and steep for the recommended time.  Once the tea is brewed, remove the tea basket and replace the lid.  To enjoy the tea, unscrew the peak of the lid revealing the built in sipping piece.  Disassemble all pieces to hand wash and hand dry.  Not safe for use in microwave oven."  I got two teas, Pear Luna (which is being discontinued) and Spice of Life.  Spice of Life is a White Tea, it has orange, almond, hazelnut and cinnamon.  I will have to return it because I am allergic to hazelnut.  Good thing i haven't brewed it yet.  I don't know what Pear Luna has in it because it is not on the website or the app.  Sorry, I do know that it is a white tea.

I went to Bath and Body Works and got some stuff.  I got 5 for $5 Pocket Bacs, Pillow Mist and a lip balm.    The lip balm I got is the C.O. Bigelow Supreme 2X in the Cinnamint flavor.  It smells like spicy cinnamon with a bit of fresh mint.  It smells really good.  I would probably repurchase the Vanillamint I have before the Cinnamint, but the Cinnamint is nice.  For the PocketBacs, I got another Vanilla Bean Noel which smells like cookies and caramel, i got Creamy Pumpkin which is a very nice vanilla with some pumpkin.  It;s good for people who like pumpkin without the spice.  Iced Gingerbread, which smells just like its name.  Pink Sugarplum which kind of smells like the Vampire Blood scent from Halloween, but sweeter.  The last one I got was Winter Cranberry, which smells like cranberry.  The last thing I got is a bottle of the Aromatherapy Pillow Mist in Lavender Vanilla.  This is one of my favorite things from the store, this is my 3rd bottle.

The last place I went was Yankee Candle.  They are having their $1 tart/votive/car jar sale for Veteran's day.  I got 4 Peppermint Barks, 2 Pomegranate Ciders, 1 Apple Pumpkin, 2 Lavender Vanillas, 1 Mandarin Cranberry, 2 Christmas Cookies, 2 Harvest Welcomes, 2 Spiced Pumpkins, 2 Sugared Apples, 2 Home Sweet Homes, 2 Pink Sands, 2 Sparkling Cinnamons, 1 Apple Cider, 1 Cinnamon Stick and 1 Caramel Pecan Pie.

Wax Tag!

I saw Jdazzler15 on YouTube do this and decided to follow suit.  Enjoy!

1. What got you into wax? Candles By Victoria got me into wax.  I placed an order from them in May 2012, and the rest is history.
2. Would you rather buy online or in store? I would rather buy in store, but I prefer the online vendors (like CBV) because they have better quality and are able to carry more scents because they don't have to worry about fitting them on the shelves.
3. Do you take notes on what you melt? No, when I do my reviews, I do it while melting the scent.
4.Do you prefer Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter scents? Fall/Winter scents because I love bakery and spicy scents more than the florals of Spring.  Summer is my second favorite.
5. How many warmers do you have? 2, one hot plate from CBV and a lightbulb warmer from Scentsationals.
6. How many warmers do you have going at once? One in my bedroom, different brands melt better in different warmers, that's why I have 2.
7. Whats your fave/least warmer? I can't choose, I only have 2 because different brands melt better in different warmers, I am not partial to a warmer, but I prefer the look of my hot plate warmer more than my Scentsationals warmer.
8. Whats your fave/least online vendor? My favorite is Candles By Victoria and my least favorite is Sweet Fixations.  I have only tried CBV, Shayz Scentz and Sweet Fixations.  It's not that I don't like Tia's products, her tarts just aren't as consistent as CBV and Shayz.
9. Top 3 fave scents and 3 least fave scents. I have so many scents that I can't choose, but I can say my favorite scent from each vendor.  CBV would be Pumpkin Pear Strudel, Shayz would be Minty Pink, Sweet Fixations would be Dole Whip.  Least favorite scents from each vendor are CBV Coconut Praline, Shayz Cranberry and Sweet Fixations Chocolate Yum-Yum.
10. Which vendor do you wish you had more of? I have a lot of CBV and will be ordering more on December 1st, but I really wish I had more Shayz Scentz tarts.  Her stuff is really good, and I wish I had more of her scents because her tarts are great.  I do prefer CBV.  The difference to me (besides types of wax) are that Shayz throws wider and CBV throws stronger.  I have a small bedroom so I would rather have a slighly shorter but stronger throw than a wider but slightly less strong throw.
11. Who do you want to order from next? I have a huge list of who I want to order from.  Who I want to order from next always changes when I find a new vendor, but I really want to try Tiffany Candles, Hayley's Heavenly Scents, Bathing Garden, Kim's Tarts, Granny's Kountry Candles, Lasting Scents, FussAss McGee, Country Home Scents, Can-Do Candles and Sniff My Tarts.
12. How do you organize your tarts? Are they opened or closed? How do you sort them? I organize my tarts in a 3 drawer container, the top is miscellaneous (orgaized by brand), the middle is my LUSH stuff and the bottom drawer is all of my CBV tarts.
13. Who is your biggest wax critic/wax lover? My biggest wax critic is my dad, he doesn't like things with smells and sometimes openly expresses his hatred of a particular scent I am melting (he told me that Apple Butter Festival from CBV smelled like pumpkins thrown into a bonfire) and my biggets wax lover is my mom.  We place orders together and we both like to melt things.
14. Do you think you could ever have too much wax? It depends, I would say that if you burn through your stash on a regular basis, it is okay, but if it is just sitting there never being melted, then yes.

Yesterday's Melt: Shayz Scentz Cinnamon Apple Berry

This one smells like apples and berries, no cinnamon.  It was very strong and I will definitely repurchase this.  (5/5)

Today's Melt: CBV Cinnamon Donuts

This one smells just like Cinnamon Donuts, with equal parts of cinnamon sugar and dough.  I really love this one and will be repurchasing this. The throw is medium, but maybe it just hasn't cured long enough yet.  I will savor the last 3/4 of it until I get another one. (5/5)

Favorite Fall Lip Product- I absolutely love the CO Bigelow Mentha Supreme 2X Shine Lip Gloss.  I know it is a gloss, but it is an amazing lip balm.  I would probably say the Cinnamint flavor for Fall, but I have the Vanillamint one.  I love it.  Expect a review soon.

Favorite Fall Drink- I love Apple Cider.  I have been drinking multiple glasses every day and i can't get enough.  Amazing.

Favorite Fall Candles- I will tell you a lot of them.  From CBV, I love Leesha, Country Bumpkin, Dutch Apple Crunch, Pumpkin Pear Strudel, Pumpkin Eggnog, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Cinnamon Donuts, Pumpkin Chocolate, Apple Butter Festival and Pumpkin Cider.  From Shayz, Caramelized Apples, Pumpkin Crunch Cookies, Cinnamon Apple Marshmallows, Pound Cake and Pink Tea & Ginger.  From Better Homes and Gardens, I love Warm Autumn Welcome, for Yankee I love Apple Pumpkin and Harvest Welcome.  For Bath and Body Works, I love Pumpkin Cupcake, Leaves, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Cranberry Woods and French Baguette.

Favorite Halloween Movie- Hocus Pocus.  I love Bette Midler, one of the best performers of all time and her performance is nothing short of awesome.  Sarah Jessica Parker gives the childish stupidity hilarity, instead of being irritating and Kathy Najimy is very good as well.  It is about 3 witches who are brought back from the dead, they can only live until the end of Halloween, so they want to once again make the potion that lets them suck the life out of the children who drink it, keeping them alive and young forever.  Definitely worth watching and fun for all.

Favorite Candies- Twix, Milky Way, Skittles, Ghiradelli Chocolate, Crunch with Caramel, Caramel, M&Ms and Krackle.

Halloween Costume 2012- Animal from the Muppets.

Favorite Thing About Fall- This is really hard.  I love all of the candle scents, but I also love cider and all of the fall landscaping.  As a performer, I love Halloween.  I love to pretend to be other things than who I am , but getting to take it off and be myself at the end.  I have always loved the fall season and I always will.  The scenes are picturesque, the weather is beautiful and the air is amazing.

Today's Melt: Warm Autumn Welcome

Today, I am melting Warm Autumn Welcome from Better Homes & Gardens.  It smells like spiced pumpkin and fresh air.  This is the one that people say smells like Harvest Welcome from Yankee, I can't say yay or nay but if it is accurate, I will be getting some of those tarts during the next sale where tarts are $1.  I really like this, a great fall scent.  A Yankee SA told me there will probably be a tart sale for Veteran's Day.  I will definitely get some of the harvest Welcome if it smells like this.  When I get/smell it, I will tell you in the haul if it smells like this.  (4.5/5)

Shayz Scentz Update

I will do the Today's Melt part at the end of the day, once I determine the strength, longevity and overall quality of my first melted Shayz tart.

Blueberry Cheesecake- This one smells like strong blueberry and a bit of cheesecake.  I hope the cheesecake comes out more when it is melting.  (3.5/5)
Pumpkin Cookies- This one is pretty equal on pumpkin and sugar cookie, no spice and it doesn't smell very strong.  (4/5)
Pink Pie- I get both notes at the same time and pretty equally.  This smells really nice, but it doesn't smell strong.  I already smelled Pumpkin Crunch Cookie and it smells strong.  I don't know what it is with the pumpkin scents I got, with the exception of PCC, they smell weak.  (4/5)
Warm Pink Vanilla Sugar- The first thing I get is the raspberry from the Pink Sugar and then the Warm Vanilla Sugar scent which smells just like the one from Bath and Body Works!  (4/5)
Cinnamon Buns- This smells nice, but not quite like I wanted it to.  It smells like cinnamon and a bit of icing.  I get no bun scent.  (3/5)
Cinnamon Apple Berry- They should just call this Apple Berry.  It smells like a perfect blend of apple and berry.  I really like this one!  (4/5)
Pink Tea & Ginger- This just smells like a perfect sweet tea.  Just enough tea to be called a tea scent without smelling like an herbal scent with just enough sweetness to tell there is something sweet, but it blends flawlessly.  This is like something from the CBV Black Label Line, perfect blend of a lot of different scents.  (4/5)
Pink Lilac- This smells a lot less perfumey than it did when I got it.  It is a nice blend of the two notes, perfect for spring.  (3.5/5)
Minty Pink- The candy cane smell is the strongest note but you can definitely smell the pink sugar.  I love this one and will definitely melt this in the winter.  (5/5)
Pink Lavender Supreme- The herbal lavender overtakes this blend, I don't get much Pink Sugar.  Maybe it will come out more when it is warm.  (3/5)
Pound Cake- A buttery, rich pound cake scent with a hint of caramel.  I really love this one, so if you want a pain pound cake, I would go with this one.  (5/5)
Apple Mint Jelly- The mint overtakes and the apple gives it an undertone of "meh."  It's okay, I would not repurchase this.  (2/5)
Caramelized Lemons- This should be called caramelized fruit loops.  This frustrates me, I always smell fruit loops instead of citrus in scents like this.  (4/5)
Cranberry- This smells like cough medicine.  I hate to say this, but I can't do this one.  It's not unbearable, I just don't like it. (1.5/5)
Caramelized Apples- It just smells like the caramel from Caramelized Pralines.  (4/5)
Pumpkin Apples- This smells like CBV Pumpkin Cider.  I wonder if it is the same oil?  (4/5)
Pink Pumpkin- I smell the Pink and the spice.  It is really nice.  (3.5/5)
Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes- Smells the same as Blueberry Cheesecake, but replace the cheesecake with pancake.  (4/5)
Cinnamon Apple Marshmallows- Smells just like the name.  I really like this one.  (4/5)
Pumpkin Crunch Cookies- It;s in the warmer right now,so I'll save the warm review for later.  On cold, it smells like Pumpkin Cookies with whipped cream.  I like this one better. (4.5/5)
Pink Sugar- Smells like sweet raspberry with extra sugary sweetness.  (4/5)
Pink Mousse- A very creamy berry with extra sweetness from the Pink.  (3.5/5)
Pink Berry- I don't why she calls this a berry scent and the description says pear.  It is a strong pear with a sweeter undertone.  (5/5)
Pinkened Pomegranate- Smells like the Pink Mousse scent.  I don't know why.  (3.5/5)
Pink Vanilla Berry Cobbler- Smells like the name implies.  It is a berry enhanced pink with a pie crust.  (4/5)
Gingersnap- I can't really describe this one and don't want to give it another sniff.  I don't like this one.  (2/5)
Pink Marshmallows- I get a pink with a cream note.  (4/5)
Wildberry Mousse- True berries and whipped cream.  (5/5)

Today's Melt: BH&G Candied Caramel Pecan

This one is really nice.  I have it going in my Sassy Scentsationals warmer from Wal Mart.  It has a medium throw and smells different warm than cold.  The pecan comes out a bit more warm, so it is the nice balance where the nuttiness and the caramel don't overpower each other, while most Caramelized Pralines scents I have smelled (like the CBV one) are really strong on the praline and not enough caramel.  I really like this one and will probably repurchase this if I ever find it again.  It smells great, the throw is good and it has lasted a while.  Great product.  (4/5)

Hillbilly Wax Haul: BH&G

Today, I went to Walmart and got 5 clamshell tarts from Better Homes and Gardens.  I thought I would share it with you.

Mulberry Plum Spice- Smells like the Vampire Blood hand soap with a tiny bit of cinnamon.
Warm Autumn Welcome- This is the one people say smells like Yankee Harvest Welcome, but I can't say yay or nay on that.  I think it smells like a spiced pumpkin a it of sweetness and a fresh air scent in the background.
Sugared Melon Kiwi- I heard somewhere this one is hard to find, so I had to get it.  The first thing I get a slightly candied watermelon and then what I think is a kiwi scent.
Candied Caramel Pecan- You might be thinking, how is that any different than Caramelized Pralines?  It smells like the caramel from CP, with almost no praline.  It just smells like the part of CP i like.
Iced Carrot Cake- I know Jdazzler15 raved about this and I can see what she is talking about.  It smells like a spicy cake with a little bit of cream cheese frosting.

LUSH Christmas Overview! Feat 8 New Hair Products and Halloween

Before I start, I would like to say that I have not tried any of these products yet, so all of the information is condensed from the Lush Times (American one), www.lushusa.com (for Halloween products and Retro Christmas) and lush.co.uk (for hair product info).  I hope you enjoy this overview.

In Store Christmas Items (Information from the LUSH Times USA)

Twilight Shower Gel- This is a shower gel scented with the scent of the Twilight Bath Bomb, so anybody who loves the bath bomb should stock up, this is only for Christmas!  I know I will be getting some. ($9.95, $18.95, $27.95)
So White Bath Bomb- The famous bath bomb is back and bigger!  This one is 6.3oz instead of the smaller one they usually have for Christmas.  It is scented of red apples and this year, it has a pink center!  I want to get this one for a cocktail with Cinders to make an Apple Cider bath! ($6.35)
Midnight Massage Massage Bar- A massage bar scented with jasmine.  If you love massage bars and jasmine, I would recommend purchasing this.  I am not a huge jasmine fan, but I like Silky Underwear.  This might be really nice paired with the Silky Underwear Dusting Powder. ($9.95)
North Pole Soap- I think this is supposed to be a replacement for the Candy Cane soap from last year.  The white is scented with chocolate and the pink is scented with a woody, minty scent.  I'm not sure if I would purchase this, I would have to smell it in the store first. ($6.95 for 3.5oz)
Snow Globe Soap- The beloved soap is back!  I know VintageChic1927 and Khrystyn14 from YouTube both love this soap!  It says that it smells of lemon, grapefruit and yland ylang.  If anything, I will get a small piece of this, I don't really take showers in the morning.  ($7.95 for 3.5oz)
Rocket Reusable Bubble Bar- I don't take baths enough to warrant getting a reusable bubble bar, so I probably won't be getting this.  It says that it smells of violets, and I don't really like florals.  I will still smell it, but I won't be buying this one.  ($9.95)
Christmas Eve Bubble Bar- The famous bubble bar is back this year!  I really want to try this one!  It smells of relaxing jasmine and ylang ylang.  ($7.25)
Snowcake Soap- This soap smells like almond icing.  I will probably not buy this, I don't like almond scents.  I know a lot of people love this soap though.  ($7.95 for 3.5oz)
Melting Snowman Bath Melt- This bath melt really looks like a melting snowman!  It looks adorable, and I can't wait to try it out!  It smells of cinnamon, clove and lime.  ($5.95)
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar- This bubble bar is back.  It is scented like Creamy Candy and is pink and green swirl this year.  Unless you like the way this looks more than the Creamy Candy, I wouldn't get this, it is the same size, but more expensive.  I'm sure it smells amazing, though.  ($7.25)
Santa's Sack Bubble Bar- The sack is a bubble bar and it has two small reusable bubble bars inside it.  This one is very spicy, so I would only recommend this one if you like heavy spice.  ($9.95)
Sandy Santa Sugar Scrub- This is a sugar scrub shaped and colored like a Santa Claus.  It smells like Brazilian orange, rosewood and sandalwood.  I don't like solid sugar scrubs, so I probably won't purchase this unless it smells over the top amazing. ($5.95)
Snow Fairy Shower Gel- The famous candy floss shower gel is back with even better packaging!  I will probably be getting at least a small bottle of it if it smells nice. ($9.95, $18.95, $27.95)
Buche de Noel Facial Cleanser- The facial cleanser is back.  It has almonds, satsumas and cranberries.  It is supposed to be moisturizing for dry skin in the winter.  It says that is a holiday version of Angels on Bare Skin, which I am not a fan of, so I will probably not be purchasing this.  ($12.95 for 3.5oz)\
Father Christmas Bath Bomb- This clove and vanilla bath bomb turns your water from red to green and puts out red glitter.  I am not a fan of clove, so I may not buy this one. ($6.40)
Let The Good Times Roll Facial Cleanser- An exfoliating, toffee scented facial cleanser with popcorn in it.  I am good with my Clinique face wash so I won't be buying this one.  ($12.95 for 3.5oz)
Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar- A reusable bubble bar scented with Snow Fairy.  You just swish it around in the water and then turn on the water and it makes bubbles.  According to VintageChic1927, the bubbles are more fizzy than smooth.  ($9.95)
Angel's Delight Soap- Orange and tangerine soap in a colorful soap.  ($5.95 for 3.5oz)
Golden Wonder Bath Bomb- A bath bomb with the Snowshowers scent.  Turns the water a pretty green color.  ($6.95)
Ponche Shower Gel- A shower gel inspired by Mexican fruity party punch.  ($9.95, $18.95, $27.95)
Party Popper Bath Bomb- Scented like ginger champagne, colored with pink and blue and releasing soap flakes that you can use to wash yourself.  The soap fakes are scented like honeydew and releasing popping candy into the water for that Rice Krispys sound.  ($5.95)
Bubblebeard Reusable Bubble Bar- A moustache bubble bar scented with lavender and sandalwood.  Must be very relaxing.  ($9.95)
Crackersnap Bath Bomb- A lemongrass bath bomb that turns your water bright green.  It may have some other surprises inside... ($9.95)
Popcorn Lip Scrub- Their amazing lip scrub scented like popcorn.  I'm pretty sure I will be purchasing this. ($8.95)
Mr. Punch Soap- A fruit punchy soap scented with gin, lime and blackcurrant.  ($6.95 for 3.5oz)
Retro Items- Silver Cloud Bath Bomb, A Gold Star Bubble Bar, Jingle Spells Bath Bomb, Ruby Red Slippers Bubble Bar, Iced Wine Shower Jelly, Spice Mountain Soap, Once A Year Massage Bar

                                                             Halloween Products

Today's Melt: Apple Butter Festival

This scent is a mix of Apple Cinnamon Butter and Kettle Corn.  I got this as my free scent shot in my Fall order.  I really like this one more warm than on cold.  On cold it just smelled like the ACB scent, but the Kettle Corn comes out more as an unsalted, unbuttered popcorn under the ACB.  It is really nice and a good surprise, since I hate kettle corn to eat and to smell.  (4.5/5)

Today's Melt: Pumpkin Chocolate

This scent is really nice. A lot of chocolate and a bit of pumpkin.  The chocolate is a milk chocolate and the pumpkin is not a spicy pumpkin.  I really like this and it lasted a long time.  (4/5)

Shayz Scentz Haul!

Today I got in my Shayz Scentz order.  I placed this a little over a week ago and I just received it a little while ago.  I made an order with my mother and we both got scents.  I will start with the free tart cups.  If you spend $25 you get free shipping and 3 free tart cups of your choice.  I did not get any other samples and that is perfectly okay.  All of the scents I ordered are in the tart cups.  I will specify which ones were gifted for free and which ones belong to my mother.  I paid for all of the other ones with my own money.  I will make a post-curing review in 2 weeks.

Pink Sugar- I got a lot of Pink blends in this order, so I wanted to have a regular Pink Sugar so I know what it smells like and to have for other mixing.  I smell the caramel and the raspberry first, then cotton candy and a tiny undertone of lemon.  I can tell this hasn't cured quite yet but I am loving it! (4/5)

Pink Lilac- This was one of my free tart cups.  I smell both the Pink Sugar and the lilac but the lilac is slightly stronger than the Pink Sugar.  Lilac is my favorite flower and I can tell this one is going to be really strong.  It will be amazing in the spring time!  (3/5)

Minty Pink- I saw VintageChic1927 on YouTube raving about this and a similar scent (Pink Peppermint from Tiffany Candes) and had to pick it up.  I can tell right off the bat both why she loves it and why she likes to sleep with it on.  This smells amazing.  The peppermint is the strongest note and it gives a cooling sensation when you smell it.  I think the peppermint is a candy cane type smell, not just a straight peppermint, it has some creaminess.  I smell the Pink Sugar too, it just isn't as strong as the mint.  This is the best one I've smelled so far!  (5/5)

Pink Lavender Supreme- This is one of my free tart cups.  The lavender is definitely the strongest note, but the Pink Sugar is there just sweetening it up in the background.  I would love it more if the Pink Sugar came out more.  (3/5)

Pinkened Pomegranate- It smells like Bath and Body Works Midnight Pomegranate with an undertone of Pink Sugar.  (4.5/5)

Pink Berry- The Pink Sugar is all I can smell, but the berries in the berry scent bring out the raspberry jam scent in the Pink Sugar.  I think if it stays like this, I will prefer this to Pink Sugar. (4.5/5)

Warm Pink Vanilla Sugar- The Warm Vanilla Sugar is stronger than the Pink Sugar but the Pink Sugar gives the Warm Vanilla Sugar a fruity note.  (4.5/5)

Pink Tea & Ginger- This scent is very complex and blended very well.  I can't pick out many individual notes, but I would have to say it smells like a Teavana tea that has fruits and sugar in it.  (4.5/5)

Pink Mousse-This smells like Pink Berry but with more creaminess to it.  (4.5/5)

Pink Vanilla Berry Cobbler- This one smells like sugary berries with a baked crust note.  (5/5)

Pink Pumpkin- Smells like Pink Sugar and strong cinnamon.  Not red hot cinnamon though.  The cinnamon is stronger than the Pink Sugar in this one.  If you like Pink blends and want a fall one, get this one.  (3.5/5)

Pink Pie- This smells like pumpkin pie with a bit of Pink Sugar in the background.  (4/4)

Pink Marshmallows- This is the Pink blend in this order, promise.  This smells really nice, it smells like super sugary marshmallows with a hint of fruit.  (5/5)

Cinnamon Apple Berry- This one is a Yankee dupe.  I have never smelled the Yankee scent though.  Smells like apples and berries with a bit of spice.  I really like this and will burn some of it before fall leaves.  (4.5/5)

Cranberry- A very nice cranberry scent.  Medium tartness and seems really strong. (4/5)

Apple Mint Jelly- This is surprisingly nice.  This is the perfect balance of apple and peppermint.  I wasn't expecting much from this scent, but this is really nice.  (3/5)

Pumpkin Crunch Cookies- Smells like a pumpkin mixed with a cookie.  This cookie is not sugar cookie, it is a richer cookie.  There is no spice to be found, just a nice pumpkin cookie with a bit of whipped cream. (4.5/5)

Wildberry Mousse- This is another scent VintageChic1927 raved about and I adore this scent.  It smells like assorted berries, not candied berries, with cream.  Awesome.  (5/5)

Caramelized Lemons- This would be a great kitchen scent.  I can tell that VintageChic1927 would love this scent.  The perfect balance of caramel and lemon zest with a touch of Fruit Loops.  (4.5/5)

Pumpkin Apples- I thought that this would be a nice dupe of Yankee's Apple Pumpkin and I was wrong.  This is very strong on the macintosh apple with very minimal pumpkin.  I like it but it wasn't what I was looking for.  (3/5)

Blueberry Cheesecake- A lot of blueberry with a creamy background.  (4/5)

Pumpkin Cookies- Smells just like Pumpkin Crunch Cookies, but the cookie is more sugary.  (4.5/5)

Pound Cake- An amazing cakey, buttery, rich pound cake scent.  No fruit to be found.  This is amazing for bakery lovers!  (5/5)

Cinnamon Buns- A red hot cinnamon with a bit of bakery.  I hope the bakery comes out more after curing. (2.5/5)

Cinnamon Apple Marshmallows- An apple cinnamon with a vanilla background.  Not a marshmallow vanilla, just a normal vanilla ice cream vanilla.  I like it, but I was expecting more marshmallow. (3/5)

Caramelized Apples- Smells like the caramel from CBV Caramelized Pralines with some spicy apple.  I really like this one.  (4/5)

Gingersnap- I smell just ginger, no cookie right now, and i only like ginger with the cookie note.  (2/5)

Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes- I smell the blueberry, I smell the buttermilk pancakes and I don't smell any syrup.  I wanted more of that maple syrup note, but I'll see after it cures. (3.5/5)

Those were all of the scents that I got, now for the ones that my mother ordered.

Monkey Farts- Fake banana and bubblegum.  I hate to say I hate it, but I realy don't like this scent.  If this is what monkey farts smell like, I am never getting a monkey. (1/5)

Banana Nut Bread- Smells awesome!  The bread and slight nuttiness make the banana less fake.  (4/5)

Apple Butter & Caramel- A caramel scent with a bit of apple and spice.  (3/5)

Blueberry Cobbler- Smells like the Blueberry Cobbler I got from Sweet Fixations, heavily blueberry scent with some breadiness, almost pancakey and a bit of cinnamon.  (3.5/5)

Red Velvet Cake- I don't know what Red Velvet Cake is supposed to smell like, but this smells nice.  I smell the frosting, I don't know what kind (maybe cream cheese?) and some general cakey goodness. (3.5/5)

Snickerdoodle- For some reason, this one is blue.  This smells like what I wanted Gingersnap to smell like.  I'm sure she will love this, her favorite coffee is the Snickerdoodle coffee at Bagel Boys.  (4/5)

Doodle Cookies- Smells like Snickerdoodle but more buttery.  (4/5)

Amish Bread- It smells like raisins and bread with no cinnamon and a hint of nuttiness.  (3/5)

Pumpkin Cookies- Already did this one, she got it too.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread- Smells like the Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Raisin Bread.  (4/5)

Mom's Lemon Meringue Pie- Fruit Loops.  I don't know why all citrus bakery scents are starting to smell like Fruit Loops to me!  GAH! (4.5/5)

Fresh Oranges- If Citronella was orange scented, it would smell like this.  (2/5)

Cappucino Brulee- Strong coffee with an undertone of fake chocolate.  If there was a Starbucks inside of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, it would smell like this.  (2/5)

That is it for this review and I will write to you guys later!
